This privacy policy explains how TriboTech ApS processes personal data when you visit tribotech.dk, use our publicly available calculation tools, or contact us.
TriboTech ApS is the controller for the processing described in this policy.
TriboTech ApS is not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer under Article 37(1) GDPR and has not appointed one. All data protection enquiries are answered at info@tribotech.dk.
We process the information you enter in the form's fields:
The enquiry is sent as an email to TriboTech's mailbox.
Your IP address is processed briefly to limit how many enquiries and tool requests can be sent from the same sender (protection against abuse and overload). Your browser information (user agent) and IP address also appear in operational logs held by our hosting provider.
Pseudonymised information about your use of the site — page views, events and a randomly generated cookie ID — via Google Analytics 4. This information cannot readily be linked to your name, but it is tied to an identifier and is therefore personal data.
Your cookie choices, your acceptance of the terms for the calculation tools, and a few display settings are stored in your own browser. See section 8 and the full list on the Cookie Preferences page.
Name, position, work email, work phone, and the correspondence relating to the engagement.
We do not collect special categories of personal data (sensitive data) through the website.

Where we process your data under Article 6(1)(f), our interest is to conduct ordinary business communication: to receive and answer enquiries from prospective and existing clients, to carry out the work we are asked to do, and to keep our website secure and available. We have assessed that this interest is not overridden by your interests and rights, because the data is what you choose to give us, it is business data, it is used only for the purpose for which you gave it, and you may object at any time (see section 11).
Contacting us and completing the contact form is neither a statutory nor a contractual requirement. You decide whether to write to us and what to write.
Company Name, First Name, Last Name, Email Address and Project Description must be completed, because we cannot otherwise answer your enquiry. Phone Number is optional. Service Interest, Urgency and Preferred Contact Method are pre-selected, so you only need to change them if you want to. The only consequence of not providing the data is that we cannot reply. You may call us instead or write directly to info@tribotech.dk.
In a client or contractual relationship, certain data may be necessary in order to enter into or perform the contract (e.g. billing details), and the Bookkeeping Act requires us to retain accounting records.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We use the following processors, who process data on our behalf and on our instructions under Article 28:

We may also disclose data to our professional advisers (lawyers, accountants) and to public authorities where we are required to do so. For laboratory analyses, only technical information about the sample and the asset is exchanged as a rule. Where naming a contact person is necessary in order to carry out the work, this is done only to the extent the engagement requires.

No cookies are set when you visit the site — only after you have made a choice in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent there at any time — withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you, cf. Article 22 GDPR. Our public calculation tools perform technical calculations on the data you enter yourself and make no decisions about people.

Right to object. You have the right at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object to our processing of your personal data where the processing is based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). This includes the handling of your enquiry. Write to info@tribotech.dk and we will stop the processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
